After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ariel Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arribeños FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's zone, Ariel Argina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Peli came out of the goal and Ariel Argina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Ariel Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Jabier Gimenez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cecilio Misael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eleuterio Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jabier Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Jabier Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jabier Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's Eleuterio Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Argina in the 29th minute of play. When Arribeños FC's Ariel Argina in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cristo Gutxi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Arribeños FC's zone, Jabier Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Misael came out of the goal and Jabier Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jabier Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Misael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jabier Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Silverio Gaspard's late challenge caught a Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Gaspard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Silverio Gaspard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes Arribeños FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Ritchie. If Jabier Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Felipillo. Eleuterio Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Argina in the 75th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Hipolito Ur shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Ricardo Felipillo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's protests and gave Ricardo Felipillo a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club's Eleuterio Peli got control of the ball when Ariel Argina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Peli having to interfere. Cla Lauquen Fútbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
