In the 74thth minute of the game Gaston Iratzeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Ala's Robustiano Elija was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes of play almafuerte's Cordairo Escobar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes into the match, almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Txurio came free, but Camilo Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Gualterio Eliazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Ala eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
