Spectators: 7125 (Terracing: 5345, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 141) Sergio Lauren took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabricio Aimar. Fabricio Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fabricio Aimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Lauren's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Vladimiro Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Silvio Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Super Mono's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Macias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Higuera's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Roano came free, but Ramon Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fabricio Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Macias having to interfere. Fabricio Aimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Lauren went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes Super Mono's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrigo Ranolfo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Sergio Lauren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabricio Aimar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 35 minutes, Sergio Lauren made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Super Mono's Fabricio Aimar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 played minutes, Higuera's Honorio Federigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabricio Aimar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Higuera reached it. Fabricio Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Aimar having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sergio Lauren made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roman Eduino fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Super Mono's protests and gave Roman Eduino a yellow card for diving instead. Roman Eduino hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Bernardo Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Lauren in the 57th minute of play forced Super Mono's goalkeeper Fabricio Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Txatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higuera's Vladimiro Txatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Sergio Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Aimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Txatxu in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabricio Aimar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vladimiro Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Super Mono's zone, Sergio Lauren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Aimar came out of the goal and Sergio Lauren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Higuera's Desiderio Cesario got a free kick in the 87th minute. Vladimiro Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fabricio Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Lauren in the 94th minute of play. Sergio Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
