Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Toschi to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Chacho getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. John Toschi might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Tomi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Toschi ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelino Jakue charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Jakue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chacho's Angelino Jakue got a free kick in the 70th minute. Raul Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fulgencio Oihan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dario Macerio. That made the score 4-2 in the 76 minute of play. John Toschi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Tomi having to interfere. John Toschi might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Tomi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Toschi ran back to his position shaking his head. During the 94th minute of the match Raul Resende completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Raul Resende a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Raul Resende hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Los Pibes FC were the better team. Los Pibes FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
