An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Calvino in the 24th minute of play forced Bressîlean Craiôva's goalkeeper Mark Pihlblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Nunez Maura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bressîlean Craiôva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montserrat AFC the free kick. The supporters of Montserrat AFC booed when Bressîlean Craiôva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes Montserrat AFC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Medardo. 36 minutes into the game, Montserrat AFC's Eusebio Calvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Pihlblad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Melchor Tano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Platon having to make a save.

Mark Pihlblad made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Eusebio Calvino sent off a good shot on target. Melchor Tano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Arnoldo Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Pihlblad made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Eusebio Calvino sent off a good shot on target. Bressîlean Craiôva made a substitution. Jimeno Venerando replaced Federico Frantzes. In the 92nd minute, Benigno Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bressîlean Craiôva fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Montserrat AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
