The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Matambre AFC's goalkeeper Leo Lucila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikko Sanevuori. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Ubarna in the 5th minute of play forced Camachui's goalkeeper Joachim Ilmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Matambre AFC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Aguilera. The attack was good, but when Nicolas Tercero in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 11 minutes in the game, Guaberto Tulio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leo Lucila having to interfere. A collision led to Matambre AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Antonio Loi hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Adriana Guillelmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Lucila. Matambre AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriana Guillelmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Matambre AFC's goalkeeper Leo Lucila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Dantae. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mikko Sanevuori sped through Matambre AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leo Lucila. Guaberto Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Camachui's Mikko Sanevuori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Lucila. Leo Lucila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Raulo made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Erubiel Ubarna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matambre AFC and the Camachui players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Matambre AFC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Barbosa. In the 56th minute, Modesto Aguilera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matambre AFC's Leo Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Tulio in the 58th minute of play. Antonio Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Guillelmo in the 71st minute of play forced Matambre AFC's goalkeeper Leo Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriana Guillelmo in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Camachui were awarded a corner. Delfim Queirós went to the cornerflag to take it. Mikko Sanevuori made a great header on Camachui's corner, it was just that Matambre AFC's Leo Lucila managed to reach the ball for a save.
