Cataratas's Benito Pio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Sustrai in the 11th minute of play. Emiliano Mincho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Braulio Lapurdi took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Pio. Benito Pio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Braulio Lapurdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Pio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 23 minutes, Cirilo Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumipal Existe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Dalmu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rumipal Existe booed when Cataratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Braulio Lapurdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumipal Existe's Paulo Petri got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Cataratas's goalkeeper Benito Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Lapurdi. Ariel Afonso's late challenge caught a Rumipal Existe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Afonso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rumipal Existe booed when Cataratas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Sustrai in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Pio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, Braulio Lapurdi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Pio, 0-6. In the 97th minute, Braulio Lapurdi made a precise shot to the right of Benito Pio. Cataratas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7.
