Ulises Gonsalvo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Remir went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute Ernesto Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Samuca Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulises Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Errando in the 16th minute of play. Abel Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ulises Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Xacintu in the 19th minute of play forced Chuli FC's goalkeeper Ulises Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chuli FC's Ulises Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Remir in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Amadeo Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapala AFC and the Chuli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prudencio Fidensio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 42nd match minute, Zapala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Berasko to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Xacintu got free with Ulises Gonsalvo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Xacintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ulises Gonsalvo made a huge save. Ulises Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Remir, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Prudencio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Motta in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chuli FC's Leonides Savion got a free kick in the 78th minute. Placido Jenaro fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 80th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The Chuli FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Chuli FC's Samuca Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zapala AFC played a much better game than Chuli FC and deserved their victory. The Chuli FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
