German Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Gabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Enekoitz was a little too slow when Albertinho Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Albertinho Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Placido Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ratatouille. Anier Isias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Club Saenz Peña's goalkeeper Placido Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Mero. Albertinho Barbosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Placido Enekoitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Albertinho Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Danilo Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Placido Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Isias in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Anier Isias notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Club Saenz Peña's Placido Enekoitz. Placido Enekoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Anier Isias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ratatouille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 69 minutes into the match, Club Saenz Peña's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Barbosa came free, but Placido Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Anier Isias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Enekoitz. Club Saenz Peña's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Isias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The audience was convinced that Anier Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Enekoitz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Albertinho Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Saenz Peña's Placido Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Isias in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Ratatouille got a corner. Club Saenz Peña's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Koldobika ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Cirilo Adrio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Esteban Romero took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Enekoitz. Placido Enekoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 90 minutes into the match, Club Saenz Peña's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Isias came free, but Placido Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Mannuel during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ratatouille had played much better football throughout.
