Garibaldi's Melquiades Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Marques in the 9th minute of play. Melquiades Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Alfonso Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Talleres FC's Armando Nofre got control of the ball when Silverio Jokin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Paul having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Benjamin Gaufred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Paul was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Talleres FC's Jonas Marques in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garibaldi's goalie prevented a goal. The Talleres FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Talleres FC's Jonas Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benjamin Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Paul having to interfere. Silverio Jokin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 47th playminute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Jonas Marques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Melquiades Paul skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Ferrando during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Paul having to make a save. In the 59th minute, Silverio Jokin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Nofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Armando Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Melquiades Paul managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Talleres FC's Jonas Marques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armando Nofre came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Garibaldi's Carlos Mark. But to his dismay, Carlos Mark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Melquiades Paul made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jonas Marques sent off a good shot on target. Eulalio Llorienzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Paul. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eulalio Llorienzo ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Nofre having to interfere. In the 85th minute Silverio Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Marques in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Paul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apolo Hernando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Melquiades Paul made a huge save. Garibaldi's Melquiades Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Cordero in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Garibaldi's zone, Alfonso Cordero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Paul came out of the goal and Alfonso Cordero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Marques in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jonas Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Talleres FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Garibaldi to leave the ground with a draw.
