In the 2nd match minute, Tata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Benvido to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Talleres FC booed when Tata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eulalio Llorienzo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celedonio Eleder. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 18th minute, Bernardo Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Marques got free with Celedonio Eleder in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Celedonio Eleder made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Talleres FC's Eulalio Llorienzo got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Tata booed when Talleres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Stefano in the 41st minute of the match. Celedonio Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Llorienzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredo Stefano made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Jonas Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61st play minutes Alfredo Stefano shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Armando Nofre and just under the crossbar into goal. Tata's Urbano Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Nofre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfredo Stefano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 65 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ramiro Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talleres FC's Armando Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Talleres FC's Eulalio Llorienzo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Aureliano Millan made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alfredo Stefano however managed to control. A collision led to Talleres FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Luciano Abadie hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Stefano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Nofre. That made the score 1-5 in the 80 minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Alfredo Stefano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres FC's Armando Nofre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Talleres FC's Jonas Marques made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Eleder was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 95 minutes, Alfredo Stefano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Stefano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Talleres FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tata's performance. The match ended with a win for Tata.
