Severiano Jeraldo was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Jimeno Blasi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jimeno Blasi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ludomil Tomiczek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Tomiczek in the 11th minute of play forced Lila F.C.'s goalkeeper Severiano Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lila F.C.'s Lázaro Orkatz got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Dalmacio Oihenarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Jeraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Gran Lanús getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Paolo Quirze hit a great ball. The supporters of Lila F.C. booed when Club Atletico Gran Lanús was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Havier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Perico hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Ludomil Tomiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Lila F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Darien. A collision led to Lila F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Saturnino Aurken hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ludomil Tomiczek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Gran Lanús's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Tomiczek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Jeraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimeno Blasi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Severiano Jeraldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 35 played minutes Club Atletico Gran Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Havier. Severiano Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Olo in the 39th minute of play. Severiano Jeraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Havier in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Ludomil Tomiczek made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Jeraldo. Lila F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Ludomil Tomiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Perico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Adolfo Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Ludomil Tomiczek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Jeraldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Severiano Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Blasi in the 58th minute of the match. Severiano Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Gran Lanús were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Lila F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Oihenarte took the corner. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Gran Lanús's corner Dalmacio Oihenarte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Severiano Jeraldo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 66th minute Ludomil Tomiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Ezequiel Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Lila F.C.'s zone, Benjamin Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Jeraldo came out of the goal and Benjamin Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ludomil Tomiczek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Severiano Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Blasi in the 75th minute of play. Severiano Jeraldo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Gran Lanús's Jimeno Blasi. But to his dismay, Jimeno Blasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Severiano Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Olo in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Lila F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Tomiczek came free, but Severiano Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico Gran Lanús players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
