Maximino Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 played minutes Paraíso FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Eate. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Crsital's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Herena came free, but Maximino Cefero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arturo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Vladimiro Bastiaro in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Crsital's Primitivo Izel. In the 28th match minute, Paraíso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Beti to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Beti in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Arturo Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Severo Beti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nunez Quexal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Crsital's Gregorio Aguilera managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vladimiro Bastiaro in the 56 minute of the game. The supporters of Deportivo Crsital booed when Paraíso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Alfredo Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paraíso FC's Rolando Restu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Crsital. Maximino Cefero made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Severo Beti sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Herena struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Maximino Cefero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraíso FC. In the 69th minute Arturo Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cristobal Senen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Crsital's Maximino Cefero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Crsital from getting a goal against them. If Severo Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Crsital's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Arturo Herena scored to the left of an out of position Maximino Cefero, making the score, 0-3. Deportivo Crsital's Maximino Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Herena in the 96th minute of play. The Paraíso FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paraíso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
