Jaime Lobo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Club Atlético River Plate's Robustiano Patxi got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Negro having to interfere. The Club Atlético River Plate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juveniles Sabaleros were winning 0-2.
