The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Celestino Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★ fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★'s Arnoldo Corderro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cayetano Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Libertad's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Genaro Bernat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hipolito Sendoa. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 27th minute Celestino Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Necochea got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Olo. Hipolito Sendoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曲桦勇 in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★ booed when Necochea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Olo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 曲桦勇 to strike the kick off in the second half. Celestino Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cayetano Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Necochea's Genaro Bernat made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Sendoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorio Boniel charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Boniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Necochea got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Boniel. Nils Carlsson, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cayetano Gabrio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Despite being the better team, ★★★★Pueyrredon A.F.C ★★★★ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
