The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Bartolo Cordarryl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Federico Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Everardo Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Oncativo AFC's Everardo Ilixo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Toro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eulalio Gelmiro made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bartolo Cordarryl sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Hilario Heriberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Toro. Bunge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Heriberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 26th minute, Bartolo Cordarryl made a precise shot to the right of Eulalio Gelmiro. Oncativo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Oncativo AFC's Ezequiel Florian suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 30 minutes, Ermegildo Bastian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunge and the Oncativo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oncativo AFC made a substitution. Evaristo Erramun replaced Ezequiel Florian. Ermegildo Bastian hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Everardo Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Paulo Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bunge's Flavio Fagildo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Paulo Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Ilixo in the 39th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Heriberto was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bunge's Eulalio Nalo got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Oncativo AFC's Nunez Lucero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Toro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Ilixo in the 58th minute of play forced Bunge's goalkeeper Paulo Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Heriberto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Paulo Toro 59 minutes into the match. Oncativo AFC's Eulalio Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Fagildo in the 62nd minute of play. Hilario Heriberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Toro having to interfere. Everardo Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Paulo Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oncativo AFC. In the 77th minute Everardo Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Heriberto took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Toro. Paulo Toro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The supporters of Bunge booed when Oncativo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Flavio Fagildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Gelmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Fagildo in the 93rd minute of the match. Oncativo AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
