Ubajay's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Delfino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Witalis Komanski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Ubajay got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Delfino. If Dalmacio Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Dalmacio Beremundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Magdaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Florencio Magdaleno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ruperto Rosio took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Florencio Magdaleno to make any attempt to save it. Ubaldo Matildo Anguita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mauro Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Ubajay's goalkeeper Florencio Magdaleno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Fernanco. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
