Justo Oliverio charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justo Oliverio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nueva Chicago's Justo Oliverio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Urbano Paublo from a close distance when the talented Ambrosio Bras managed to make a qualified save. Nueva Chicago's players were relieved. Felipe Duarte succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Everardo Berto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Felipe Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Nueva Chicago's Ambrosio Bras got control of the ball when Urbano Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Everardo Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardino Kusko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uriel Ibañez's late challenge caught a Puan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Ibañez helped the player get up and apologised. If Bernardino Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernardino Kusko came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Puan fans jumped to their feet. In the 89th match minute, Puan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Frisco to maneuver through the defense. Nueva Chicago's Ambrosio Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Kusko in the 92nd minute of play. Ambrosio Bras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbano Paublo went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Puan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
