An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Frichoso in the 10th minute of play forced Real Cohólicos FC's goalkeeper Salva Bolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Salva Bolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Cohólicos FC's Santo Tome got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, Alonzo Fonda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodosio Hotz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute Alonzo Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Hotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Santo Tome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cohólicos FC and the Crotto AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Real Cohólicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Tome. 28 minutes into the game, Alonzo Fonda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Cohólicos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crotto AFC the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Resto in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salva Bolas saved Real Cohólicos FC from getting behind. When Arturo Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Crotto AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Furtado couldn't finish the play. Placido Locaio charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Locaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Placido Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Real Cohólicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Locaio came free, but Salva Bolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Real Cohólicos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Resto came free, but Salva Bolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Braulio Resto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salva Bolas was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Locaio got free with Salva Bolas in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eriberto Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salva Bolas made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Arturo Furtado sent off a good shot on target. Placido Locaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salva Bolas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Locaio ran back to his position shaking his head. Crotto AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
