Teodosio Hotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Tomas Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Hotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Locaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Crotto AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
