The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cochequingán's Gogo Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Orlondon in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Cochequingán's Jaime Herrera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Lixandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Ovidio Erlantz made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Maria. Cochequingán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gogo Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Orlondon in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Portalis FC's Santiago Lixandro got control of the ball when Jaime Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Cochequingán's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Erlantz came free, but Gogo Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Cochequingán's Olexandr Panchuk made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santiago Lixandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
If Felipe Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Maria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portalis FC's zone, Olexandr Panchuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Lixandro came out of the goal and Olexandr Panchuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olexandr Panchuk in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Lixandro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olexandr Panchuk in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Lixandro saved Portalis FC from getting behind. Gogo Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Orlondon in the 58th minute of the match. Olexandr Panchuk struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Santiago Lixandro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochequingán. In the 65th minute Teobaldo Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jaime Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Lixandro having to interfere. Roberto Procopio charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Procopio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Portalis FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Procopio. Gogo Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Erlantz in the 81st minute of play. Gogo Maria was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Ovidio Erlantz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ovidio Erlantz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Gogo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
