In the 9th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Cayo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Aldo Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Christian Gar took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Carmelo Michael to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Laureano Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaviotas FC's Carmelo Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Elixio in the 20th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Basilio Elixio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Basilio Elixio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carmelo Michael came out and tried to block the shot, but Basilio Elixio slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 33rd minute. Carmelo Michael was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Christian Gar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christian Gar really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Christian Gar got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Elixio. Dante Bilbo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laureano Botello. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Elixio to make the kick off. Carlos Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Remigio Firmin took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Michael. Carmelo Michael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Carmelo Michael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Elixio went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute Basilio Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Christian Gar notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Gaviotas FC's Carmelo Michael. Carmelo Michael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Aznar to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Gregorio Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Michael. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Carmelo Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Santo in the 82nd minute of play. Carmelo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Asier in the 83rd minute of the match. Carmelo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Elixio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Carmelo Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Gar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boca Juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
