Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Bakar started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Armando Olo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Estebe was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the game, Roman Cerilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mascota AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chilibroste FC the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Mascota AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Polo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arnulfo Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Delmar Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cipriano Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felice Sciotto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Elorri came out and tried to block the shot, but Felice Sciotto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. If Christian Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chilibroste FC defense, Arnulfo Polo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Estebe. The Chilibroste FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Estebe should have stopped the shot. Mario Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Chilibroste FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Polo came free, but Delmar Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felice Sciotto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Eron got free with Mario Elorri in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmar Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Polo in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Armando Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mascota AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Chilibroste FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Polo came free, but Delmar Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christian Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Polo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Felice Sciotto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Elorri. Mascota AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felice Sciotto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 54th minute, Vladimiro Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Chilibroste FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Polo came free, but Delmar Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Estebe having to interfere. Mascota AFC's Mario Elorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Curcio in the 87th minute of play. Armando Olo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Joachim was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chilibroste FC! Chilibroste FC:s Delmar Estebe showed great skill when he stopped Nunez Remir:s penalty. Nunez Remir took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Estebe. Delmar Estebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
