An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Jakes in the 10th minute of play forced Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Alfredo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Lorenzs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Ismael Virila to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Erasmo Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Alfredo Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Eguntsenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Soldiers of Jah Army's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Apolo Lorenz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Defensa y Justicia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soldiers of Jah Army the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Lorenz was the one to do the kick off. If Apolo Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Defensa y Justicia fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Defensa y Justicia's Apolo Lorenz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apolo Lorenz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Virila saved Soldiers of Jah Army from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Soldiers of Jah Army's zone, Igor Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Virila came out of the goal and Igor Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Lorenz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Virila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Santo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Defensa y Justicia's Igor Santo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Alfredo Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Estefan in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Santo in the 70th minute of play forced Soldiers of Jah Army's goalkeeper Ismael Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensa y Justicia's Apolo Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Apolo Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Virila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Lon went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ismael Virila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Lorenz's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When Erasmo Lon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Defensa y Justicia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Lon couldn't finish the play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Apolo Lorenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soldiers of Jah Army's Ismael Virila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Eguntsenti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95thth minute of the game Apolo Lorenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soldiers of Jah Army's Ismael Virila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erasmo Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ismael Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Defensa y Justicia fully deserved thier win.
