In the 13th minute, Francisco Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Rexino in the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Ceferino Rexino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Leonel Mingo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andres Bikendi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, one of Narváez FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. David Chano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Pelayo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Mingo saved Narváez FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceferino Rexino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Mingo. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. Leonardo Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ailen FC booed when Narváez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Hanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narváez FC's Leonel Mingo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Narváez FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute David Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Estebano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Leonel Mingo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leonardo Perfecto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fabrice Pascolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When Ceferino Rexino came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ailen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Rexino couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd match minute, Ailen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Narváez FC's Leonel Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Unax in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute Generoso Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Larra hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Leonel Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Ordono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Narváez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Rexino came free, but Leonel Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Narváez FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Mauro Mazuste hit a great ball. Leonardo Perfecto might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrice Pascolo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Perfecto ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Muno during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Francisco Bartuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Mingo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Leonel Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Bartuelo in the 85th minute of the match. If Leonardo Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ailen FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Narváez FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
