In the 65thth minute of the game Cayetano Selatse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones's Gaspar Remicio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 93rd minute of the match Candido Txilar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Candido Txilar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Igor Cerilo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Leones were victorious despite being under pressure from Víboras AFC for much of the match.
