In the 5th minute Freddy Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Kimetz in the 6th minute of play. Anguilan's Higinio Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Kimetz in the 8th minute of play. Aquilino Bastian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Higinio Ascencio made a huge save. 16 minutes into the match, Remember Me...'s goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Matia came free, but Lázaro Goiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Remember Me...'s Aquilino Bastian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Ascencio. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Aquilino Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Higinio Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Kimetz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Anguilan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mauricio Pero hit a great ball. Remember Me...'s Lázaro Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Matia in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Florencio Matia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Remember Me...'s Lázaro Goiz. Lázaro Goiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higinio Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Kimetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Anguilan booed when Remember Me... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Goiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Matia was the one to do the kick off. 莫霆谦 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Goiz having to interfere. With a little luck, Remember Me...'s Lázaro Goiz got control of the ball when Florencio Matia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florencio Matia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Goiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Freddy Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match Remember Me... got a corner. Anguilan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domingos Llorenc ran over to the corner to take the kick. Remember Me...'s Domingos Llorenc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higinio Ascencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, Florencio Matia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lázaro Goiz. Remember Me...'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Matia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Higinio Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Florencio Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lázaro Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anguilan's Amado Arotza got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Goiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Matia went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Anguilan played a much better game than Remember Me... and deserved their victory. The Remember Me... players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
