The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Bernaldo got free with Arnaldo Clis in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Pasco AFC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Bernaldo. Arnaldo Clis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Basualdo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. Miñones's Fernan Goiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Haimar in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Pasco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Haimar to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Arnaldo Clis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Basualdo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Haimar in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernan Goiz saved Miñones from getting behind. Arnaldo Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Basualdo in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pasco AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
