But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaw Kornasiewicz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaw Kornasiewicz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Macerio saved Telsen FC from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Augusto Eguzki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eleuterio Macerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zacarias Lauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Soin in the 30th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Salvador Lia put in a rough tackle. Eleuterio Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Kornasiewicz in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Niceto Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murphy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Kornasiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Macerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Augusto Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Sedeni's late challenge caught a Murphy AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Sedeni helped the player get up and apologised. Murphy AFC made a substitution. Pedro Checa replaced Augusto Eguzki. Honorato Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Telsen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Kornasiewicz came free, but Eleuterio Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pedro Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murphy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Macerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murphy AFC's Gustaw Kornasiewicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Murphy AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
