Zeledon Abajas scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Teofilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Remigio Montay charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Montay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabricio Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Labor y Perseverancia's Baltasar Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Abajas in the 23rd minute of play. AC MILAN's Zeledon Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Labor y Perseverancia were furious when Anibal Gorosti was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Labor y Perseverancia's Baltasar Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Abajas in the 32nd minute of play. Baltasar Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Abajas in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Jeronimo Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Fabricio Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Teofilio having to interfere. Jeronimo Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, AC MILAN's Zeledon Abajas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Teofilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Iratzeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jeronimo Belarmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC MILAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jeronimo Belarmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zeledon Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Vedillo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Vedillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Vedillo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Labor y Perseverancia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Labor y Perseverancia's zone, Jeronimo Belarmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Teofilio came out of the goal and Jeronimo Belarmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, AC MILAN's Lázaro Chaime seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lázaro Chaime the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC MILAN protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lázaro Chaime had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AC MILAN! Jeronimo Belarmo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Teofilio came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeronimo Belarmo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Labor y Perseverancia got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Eleazar. Jeronimo Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Teofilio having to interfere. Remigio Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Baltasar Teofilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Labor y Perseverancia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Maximiliano Eleazar hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Labor y Perseverancia's zone, Clemente Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Teofilio came out of the goal and Clemente Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over AC MILAN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Labor y Perseverancia throughout the match.
