Norberto Goren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Sabin in the 21st minute of play forced Cienaguita's goalkeeper Joel Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. R.A.P's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Gonzalo Castel scored to the left of an out of position Norberto Goren, making the score, 2-0. Nicasio Ongile's late challenge caught a R.A.P's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Ongile helped the player get up and apologised. Nicasio Ongile hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Pablo Sabin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Ipar came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by R.A.P's Anibal Demesio. But to his dismay, Anibal Demesio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Clemente Florinio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Goren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Florinio ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to R.A.P getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Baldomero Fero hit a great ball. Clemente Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Norberto Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Goren having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Sabin to make the kick off. Clemente Florinio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Norberto Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguita. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.A.P's goalkeeper Norberto Goren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Sabin in the 60th minute of play forced Cienaguita's goalkeeper Joel Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Clemente Florinio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cienaguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Florinio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in R.A.P's zone, Gonzalo Castel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Goren came out of the goal and Gonzalo Castel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gonzalo Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Gonzalo Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 85 minutes on the clock, Nicasio Ongile commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Nestor Erasto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
