Luiz Eduardo Queirós came out of the goal and Tomás Erasto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Erasto in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes, 尹平勇 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venancio AFC and the Cieneguita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 尹平勇 kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Erasto in the 42nd minute of play forced Venancio AFC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Cieneguita FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luiz Eduardo Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Erasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Queirós having to interfere. The Venancio AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cieneguita FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
