The Huaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 26th minute Mircea Mândru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Jerrold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mircea Mândru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Jerrold having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Nicanor Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mircea Mândru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonas Jerrold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

José Vítor do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Huaco's Nicanor Neto got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giosu in the 65th minute of play forced Huaco's goalkeeper José Vítor do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Rami might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Vítor do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Rami ran back to his position shaking his head. Mircea Mândru struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jonas Jerrold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huaco. Mircea Mândru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Jerrold having to interfere. Tauno Mäntylä scored 0-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Jerrold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mircea Mândru in the 84th minute of play. The Los De Franco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huaco's performance. The match ended with a win for Huaco.
