In the 34th minute Mircea Mândru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Charro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Huaco booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Ereinotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huaco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
