Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godofredo Rufo started the match with the kick off. Tauno Mäntylä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mircea Mândru came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Huaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Mândru couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Horacio Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, one of A.C Vikingo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Huaco's Nicanor Neto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sergio Birila. In the 30th minute of the match Carlos Leobardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Vítor do Valle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Tauno Mäntylä who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.C Vikingo's Sergio Birila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tauno Mäntylä in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Birila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mircea Mândru came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Huaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Mândru couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Mircea Mândru rounded A.C Vikingo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C Vikingo's goalkeeper Sergio Birila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mircea Mândru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Birila having to interfere. A.C Vikingo's Sergio Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Mândru in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mircea Mândru made the kick off in the second half. If Mircea Mândru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Mircea Mândru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Birila having to interfere. A.C Vikingo's Sergio Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Neto in the 90th minute of play. The long shot by Amador Perpinya in the 96th minute really tested José Vítor do Valle's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee ended the match the Huaco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
