An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Braga in the 8th minute of play forced DON CARMELO STADIUM's goalkeeper Ismael Gilabert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pujol booed when DON CARMELO STADIUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Pujol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes DON CARMELO STADIUM got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Gaitano. After 15 played minutes, Pujol's Mugur Balțoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Gilabert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pujol reached it. Ismael Gilabert came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Pujol's Santo Balendin. But to his dismay, Santo Balendin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Francisco Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Pujol's Francisco Iratzeder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Gilabert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to DON CARMELO STADIUM getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Artemio Santos hit a great ball. Ismael Gilabert came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Pujol's Felippe Braga. But to his dismay, Felippe Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Inocencio Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Pujol's Felippe Braga made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Gilabert was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the DON CARMELO STADIUM defense, Francisco Iratzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Gilabert. The DON CARMELO STADIUM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Gilabert should have stopped the shot. Ismael Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felippe Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Constantino Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot. DON CARMELO STADIUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Marcones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Pablo Carrizo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Braga made a kick off. Ismael Gilabert came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pujol's Francisco Iratzeder. But to his dismay, Francisco Iratzeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 55th minute, Arturo Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Juan Pablo Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, DON CARMELO STADIUM's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Braga came free, but Ismael Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, DON CARMELO STADIUM's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Braga came free, but Ismael Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DON CARMELO STADIUM's Ismael Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Braga in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Iratzeder got free with Ismael Gilabert in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Felippe Braga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Gilabert, 0-8. Ismael Gilabert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felippe Braga's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. A collision led to DON CARMELO STADIUM getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ceferino Chan hit a great ball. Ismael Gilabert made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Francisco Iratzeder sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pujol's Paulino Sengrat got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pujol eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
