Spectators: 7098 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fierro's Esteve Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Su in the 11th minute of play. In the 17th minute Patricio Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Loreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteve Loreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Emesto in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Bernardo Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ánimas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Octavio Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Patricio Presebal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Fierro's Esteve Loreto. Esteve Loreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Iban charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
