The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bermudo Hidalgo helped the player get up and apologised. Bermudo Hidalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Francisco Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bermudo Hidalgo in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Amadeo Salvator made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Checa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bermudo Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A. Nueva Chicago's Francisco Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bermudo Hidalgo in the 11th minute of play. Bermudo Hidalgo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Francisco Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing de Nueva Italia. Racing de Nueva Italia's Leandro Guerrero suffered a concussion in the 23rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Dion Hird fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Nueva Chicago's protests and gave Dion Hird a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Dion Hird hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes C.A. Nueva Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Mark. 29 minutes into the match, C.A. Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Santana came free, but Francisco Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Racing de Nueva Italia's goalkeeper Honorato Checa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolai Fløjman. Francisco Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Vargas in the 37th minute of the match. Jose Vargas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Frutos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Eustaquio Santana struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Francisco Frutos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing de Nueva Italia. Jeronimo Christobal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Vargas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.A. Nueva Chicago's Francisco Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Vargas in the 55th minute of play. After 73 played minutes, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Gencay Paker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Honorato Checa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. Nueva Chicago reached it. After a rather tough play, C.A. Nueva Chicago's Fausto Mark got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Alfonso Santana threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing de Nueva Italia's Bermudo Hidalgo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jose Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Nikolai Fløjman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Racing de Nueva Italia's Honorato Checa. Honorato Checa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The C.A. Nueva Chicago players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
