Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aílton Antunes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alvaro Guilabertus came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Lanús's Aílton Antunes. But to his dismay, Aílton Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute of the match Klement Borucki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Guilabertus skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Aílton Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Lanús's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Guilabertus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alvaro Guilabertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alvaro Guilabertus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aílton Antunes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aílton Antunes in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Guilabertus saved Ringuelet FC from getting behind. A collision led to Ringuelet FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Zacarias Quirce hit a great ball. When C. A. Lanús's Aílton Antunes in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ringuelet FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 29 played minutes, C. A. Lanús's Carmelo Frances shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Guilabertus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Lanús reached it. Jairo Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Guilabertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ringuelet FC's Alvaro Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Antunes in the 39th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Ringuelet FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Abascal. 44 minutes into the match, Ringuelet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Antunes came free, but Alvaro Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes C. A. Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Sugar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 57th match minute, Ringuelet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Quirce to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Guilabertus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomás Guarda. Julio Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Palben in the 59th minute of play. Aílton Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alvaro Guilabertus made a huge save. Alvaro Guilabertus made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Aílton Antunes sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Antunes got free with Alvaro Guilabertus in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Claudio Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes C. A. Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Erauso. With his leg Alvaro Guilabertus managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when C. A. Lanús's Aílton Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Emesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Rafe having to make a save. 80 minutes into the match, C. A. Lanús's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Palben came free, but Julio Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Tomás Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Serafin Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aílton Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Guilabertus having to interfere. When the match was over C. A. Lanús could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ringuelet FC throughout the match.
