After 22 played minutes Branquelme got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Cristofol. With 25 minutes on the clock, Clodoveo Reno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Branquelme:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for C. A. Lanús. Tomás Guarda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adriana Rivas. 2-0. In the 34th minute, Gustavo Erauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriana Rivas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Antunes in the 35th minute. C. A. Lanús's Aílton Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aílton Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Adriana Rivas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ruperto Sugar took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Adriana Rivas to make any attempt to save it. Aílton Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Antuness short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Adriana Rivas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Padro to make the kick off. Branquelme's Adriana Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Guarda in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Branquelme's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Antunes came free, but Adriana Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, C. The referee ignored Branquelme's protests and gave Gabriel Cristofol a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Cristofol kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Aílton Antunes struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Adriana Rivas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Lanús.
