Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norberto Velasco started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Bremen's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Seme came free, but Rene Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Azeari took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Vergaray. Teo Vergaray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 14 minutes, Herminio Seme made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bremen's Rene Favila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Telo Sarro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pura Quimica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telo Sarro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bremen getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Melchor Torres hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Pura Quimica's goalkeeper Teo Vergaray had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Azeari. Teo Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Txindoki in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Pura Quimica's Evelio Rius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evelio Rius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pura Quimica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evelio Rius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 27 minutes into the game, one of Pura Quimica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Teo Vergaray had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnaldo Ishmael's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Atilano Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Ricardo Azeari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Velasco in the 40th minute of play. Rene Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telo Sarro in the 42nd minute of play. Teo Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Ricardo Azeari notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pura Quimica's Teo Vergaray. Teo Vergaray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

55 minutes into the match, Bremen's goalkeeper Rene Favila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telo Sarro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Txindoki in the 58th minute of play forced Pura Quimica's goalkeeper Teo Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pura Quimica's Herminio Seme got a free kick in the 58th minute. Telo Sarro charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Telo Sarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pura Quimica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Telo Sarro hit a great ball. Pura Quimica's Teo Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Velasco in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Bremen booed when Pura Quimica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pura Quimica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Herminio Seme hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Pura Quimica's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Velasco came free, but Teo Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Tallia, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Herminio Seme fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pura Quimica's protests and gave Herminio Seme a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Ishmael in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Vergaray saved Pura Quimica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pura Quimica's Clemente Larra got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pura Quimica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bremen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pura Quimica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
