Enrique Leoiar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marian Faron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Zapla's Filomeno Manex seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filomeno Manex the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zapla protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filomeno Manex had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 32 played minutes Zapla got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Manex. In the 33rd minute, Leon Celino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes Zapla got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Pasqual. The long shot by Leon Celino in the 39th minute really tested Enrique Leoiar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Faron made a kick off. Victorio Ebardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Alberto Toribio made a huge save. Enrique Leoiar came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Real bañil AFC's Marian Faron. But to his dismay, Marian Faron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 62 played minutes Real bañil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Cordarell. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Victorio Ebardo sped through Real bañil AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Toribio. Haroldo Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Octavio Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Real bañil AFC were awarded a corner. Leon Celino went to the cornerflag to take it. Peter Michalík made a great header on Real bañil AFC's corner, it was just that Zapla's Enrique Leoiar managed to reach the ball for a save. Marian Faron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Leoiar having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Zapla's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Faron came free, but Enrique Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapla's goalkeeper Enrique Leoiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real bañil AFC's Marian Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Eguzki in the 84th minute of the match. Arnoldo Estevez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Zapla's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
