In the 5th minute, Aurelio Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chinchinales FC's Dalmacio Galindo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ayberk Baykal made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Camilo Guib sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Ayberk Baykal managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Chinchinales FC's Silvio Bazil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 12 minutes of play, West Ham United's Alfredo Garaile made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Pacifico was left in no man's land by his defense there! West Ham United's Natalio Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfredo Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Onofre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ayberk Baykal came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Onofre slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. West Ham United's Natalio Sindo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Camilo Guib fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chinchinales FC's protests and gave Camilo Guib a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of West Ham United booed when Chinchinales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ricardo Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ayberk Baykal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Bazil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Sindo to make the kick off. Ayberk Baykal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Onofre in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Natalio Sindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Natalio Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Natalio Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 73rd minute, but Ricardo Pacifico got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Chinchinales FC hanging dry this time. Natalio Sindo had several of the Chinchinales FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Ricardo Pacifico as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Alfredo Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Lia kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over West Ham United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chinchinales FC throughout the match.
