After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Silverio Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peman's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Abastas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Lizbeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Danel in the 23rd minute of play forced Saavedra FC's goalkeeper Hernan Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Astor Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Lizbeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Abastas in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Ovidio Nahia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Delmiro Ler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Peman getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alfred Lykkebæk hit a great ball. Delmiro Ler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Balasi in the 48th minute.

Romeo Frechoso's late challenge caught a Saavedra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. Romeo Frechoso hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ramon Danel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Lizbeth having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Danel in the 60th minute of play forced Saavedra FC's goalkeeper Hernan Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saavedra FC's Leopoldo Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramon Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Abastas in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernan Lizbeth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Silverio Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Lizbeth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peman's Ramon Danel got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Saavedra FC's Ovidio Nahia got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ramon Danel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Lizbeth having to interfere.
