Fausto Haritzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rolando Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Florentino AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Pelagius came free, but Fausto Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Estebe in the 41st minute of play. Rolando Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Alonso to make the kick off. Fausto Haritzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Pelagius in the 92nd minute. During the 92nd minute of the match Clodoveo Aballe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Clodoveo Aballe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Florentino AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Clodoveo Aballe hit a great ball. Rolando Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Haritzeder having to interfere. F.C. Internazionale's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
