Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sauzales's Nestor Urbasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 26 minutes, Nestor Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sauzales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Urbasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severino Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Sauzales's Francisco Donzel threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nestor Urbasa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Barracas FC. Wilfredo Ordono stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Genaro Eron. 0-2. Nestor Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Francisco Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barracas FC's Arsenio Furman got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Barracas FC's Francisco Donzel got control of the ball when Severino Guipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Nestor Urbasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Severino Guipuzkoa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Donzel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustaquio Oliviero to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Severino Guipuzkoa sped through Barracas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Donzel. If Nestor Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Eron having to interfere. Jose Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes, Sauzales's Teo Terciero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Donzel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sauzales reached it. If Severino Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Guipuzkoa in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Sauzales's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eustaquio Oliviero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Barracas FC's Francisco Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Guipuzkoa in the 80th minute of play. Honorato Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Francisco Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Guipuzkoa in the 83rd minute of play. Sauzales's Nestor Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Urbasa in the 91st minute of play forced Barracas FC's goalkeeper Francisco Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Angelino Garikoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barracas FC and the Sauzales players grew even worse after the yellow card.
