Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Ronnie Hellström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 7 minutes into the match, Marucho's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Eladio. Marucho's Ronnie Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Marucho from getting a goal against them. Nunez Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Denis Shtyrev hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ronnie Hellström was a little too slow when Leandro Nafarroa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Justino Tavio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ronnie Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tegua FC. A collision led to Tegua FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jacobo Tadzio hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Denis Shtyrev shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Tegua FC's Prospero Etxekopar to catch but Denis Shtyrev was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Tavio in the 44th minute of play forced Marucho's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Eladio took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronnie Hellström. Ronnie Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Nafarroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Tavio in the 56th minute of play forced Marucho's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Sazon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Eladio in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Justino Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Tavio in the 73rd minute of play forced Marucho's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Guaberto Eutropio took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Prospero Etxekopar to make any attempt to save it. Tegua FC made a substitution. Santos Fraco replaced Justino Tavio. Marucho's Denis Shtyrev shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Prospero Etxekopar but with some difficulty. In the 94th minute, Santos Fraco made a precise shot to the right of Ronnie Hellström. Marucho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4.
