But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Gentza couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Desiderio Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st match minute, Cacique FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Ovando to maneuver through the defense. CAJSG's Niceto Edwardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Cresenciano, made in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 28th minute Desiderio Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes CAJSG got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Barrionuevo. Edelmiro Nuñez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacique FC's Jonathan Gentza. But to his dismay, Jonathan Gentza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alvaro Txartiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Nuno in the 36th minute of the match. When Cacique FC's Desiderio Aurken in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAJSG's goalie prevented a goal. The Cacique FC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Cacique FC's Desiderio Aurken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The CAJSG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cacique FC were winning 1-2.

In the 56thth minute of the game Desiderio Aurken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAJSG's Edelmiro Nuñez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CAJSG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Tadeo Ovando scored to the left of an out of position Edelmiro Nuñez, making the score, 1-3. Desiderio Aurken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jonathan Gentza sent off a good shot on target. Alvaro Txartiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Nuno in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Aurken got free with Edelmiro Nuñez in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rodolfo Leguizamón fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAJSG's protests and gave Rodolfo Leguizamón a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CAJSG! The referee gave Cacique FC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosme Berart, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CAJSG's Edelmiro Nuñez. 1-4. Tadeo Ovando struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Edelmiro Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacique FC. CAJSG's Edelmiro Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Aurken in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Fabricio Cresenciano threw the ball into play from the sideline. CAJSG's Niceto Edwardo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edelmiro Nuñez stood somewhat misplaced when Desiderio Aurken came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 84 minute. If Tadeo Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, one of CAJSG:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CAJSG. The goalkeeper, Edelmiro Nuñez, was totally fooled by Cacique FC's Cosme Berart, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of CAJSG:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cacique FC:s goal. When the final whistle sounded Cacique FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CAJSG.
