Club Atlético Sarmiento's Hermengildo Pitin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Pitin in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herminio Dominic, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hermengildo Pitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Pitin in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Dominic saved Don Ramón FC from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Pitin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Club Atlético Sarmiento fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Club Atlético Sarmiento's Hermengildo Pitin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Silvio Eleazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee ignored Don Ramón FC's protests and gave Fernando Silbestre a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Silbestre hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atlético Sarmiento fully deserved thier win.
