Spectators: 6355 (Terracing: 5355, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fausto Paez kicked off to start the match. Lorenzo Ioritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Montxo in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, C.A .PIRATAS's Fidel Aires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Thomas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to C.A .PIRATAS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Filiberto Iban hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, Baltomer Rus's Elias Montxo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Ioritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Iruinea in the 13th minute of play forced C.A .PIRATAS's goalkeeper Lorenzo Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jonatan Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Baltomer Rus's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Aires came free, but Jonatan Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Paez got free with Jonatan Thomas in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Ioritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Montxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Elias Montxo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lorenzo Ioritz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pastor Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jonatan Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A .PIRATAS. After some careless play in the Baltomer Rus defense, Fausto Paez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Thomas. The Baltomer Rus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Thomas should have stopped the shot. Fidel Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Fidel Aires made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Baltomer Rus's Jonatan Thomas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, C.A .PIRATAS's Fidel Aires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonatan Thomas. Jonatan Thomas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Fidel Aires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fausto Paez came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the C.A .PIRATAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Paez couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Elias Montxo made the kick off in the second half. Fidel Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 52 minutes into the game, Fausto Paez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Jonatan Thomas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 minutes, Prudencio Iruinea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baltomer Rus and the C.A .PIRATAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A .PIRATAS booed when Baltomer Rus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Baltomer Rus's Jonatan Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Paez in the 61st minute of play. Lorenzo Ioritz came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Baltomer Rus's Elias Montxo. But to his dismay, Elias Montxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Jonatan Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Fidel Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Fausto Paez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A .PIRATAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. In the 90th match minute, C.A .PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Iban to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Aires in the 93rd minute of play forced Baltomer Rus's goalkeeper Jonatan Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A .PIRATAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Baltomer Rus had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
